DUBAI: Popular Pakistani singer Atif Aslam lit up the main stage at Global Village Dubai on Sunday evening, treating thousands of fans to a spectacular night of music.

Known for his dynamic blend of pop, rock and classical sounds, Aslam performed a series of his greatest hits.

The crowd sang along passionately as he delivered chart-toppers such as Tera Hone Laga Hoon, Jeene Laga Hoon, Woh Lamhe, and Tere Bin.

A tribute to fans

Atif Aslam, a celebrated figure in the South Asian music industry, is renowned for his heartfelt vocals and impressive versatility. Bursting onto the scene with Aadat, he went on to carve a niche with albums like Jal Pari and Doorie, along with Bollywood anthems such as Tu Jaane Na and Jeena Jeena. His ability to blend qawwali, classical and pop elements made Sunday’s performance a night to remember.

The current season, open until May 11, has already seen visits from Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan, as well as tribute shows honouring artists like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.
